Took measurements again today from 6 weeks ago: lost 1/2 inch from waist, 1 inch from hips!
Exercise:45 min Cathe Muscle Max (total body ST)
When I find that I have been off track, I know it is because I haven't put myself first. The saying "if you fail to plan then you plan to fail" is so true for me and maybe you too.
One of my big downfalls is "I'll exercise later." Well after the TV gets turned on, housework gets done, family care, pet care, work, and the internet gets opened and all the other stuff that life throws at you starts...then there doesn't seem to be time to get exercise and food prep done. At that point it is easy to get frustrated and overwhelmed.
What works for me is to set a date with myself. Just like I set a date to have lunch with a friend or my husband, I set a time to dedicate to my health and fitness. I put it on my calendar: Sunday 10-12 I will do food prep for the week. 10-11 am Monday I will exercise, etc.
People who are successful don't wait for things to happen--they plan and take action. We are all busy, it's about priorities and solutions. Some days all you have time for is a prayer or meditation and that's ok--it's still taking time out for you. If you haven't been getting results, are you just waiting for things to happen? No one else can make your health and fitness a priority but you! And what I know for sure is that we are worth it. We are worth reaching our goals, feeling our best, being our best.:)
